Alex and Sam's paths first crossed at CloudKitchens, where they both collaborated closely under Travis Kalanick's leadership. Alex, started his career with a short stint in Parliament, working alongside several UN organisations, before spending several years at Apple in operations. Later, Alex contributed significantly to CloudKitchens' global expansion and high-performing culture, under Uber founder Travis Kalanick. Sam and Alex played a leading role in scaling CloudKitchens globally, from 50 to 5000 employees in just three years.

 

Their professional journey continued at Factory14, where Sam and Alex took on leadership positions, scaling the company to over 100 employees internationally before helping with exiting the business. Alex, went on to become the Vice President of Operations and Marketing at SigTech, a Brevan Howard spin-off FinTech AI firm, running a department of 5 teams where he was later joined by Sam. There, Sam focussed on growing the business and assisting with fundraising while Alex took over the Marketing org, propelling their new GPT app to the second position in Finance on the launch day of OpenAI's GPT store.

 

Alex and Sam’s joint business partnership has driven fruitful results, demonstrated in their strong network and subsequent successes at CloudKitchens, Factory14 and SigTech.
